A law office in Burlingame, I've been doing floral arrangements for them since in 1999, I believe...
The floral arrangement is placed at reception area on every Monday.
I saw big orange roses at market and made a contemporary style with viburnums and tropical leaves.

My Gargen Vegitable
If I didn't become a florist after years of office work, I would be a farmer?
I would like to learn more professionally to glowing vegetables, fruits and flowers .
It's hard work but so much fun. When the harvest season, so exited to see those.
Of course fresh taste.
Would be cheaper and faster if you buy those at store... I know, I know.

Kristi & Fred’s Wedding (7/11/09)
Geoff White Photographers recently had some photos published in For the Bride magazine. These photos included some of my wedding floral arrangements I did for Kristi and Fred's wedding in 2009. Their color theme was yellow and white as Kristi loves calla lilies. These lilies turned out beautiful as that particular week I was lucky enough to find a new variety of huge yellow calla lilies that I had never seen before. Bigger is not always better, but these had that special wedding punch!
Geoff White did a beautiful job and he is one of my favorite photographers. In particular I like the up close photos he takes of his subject, which becomes more intriguing and intimate.

Tomobi Floral Art Donates Two Arrangements to Holidays on a High Note 2009
I was invited to do a floral arrangement for Holidays on a High Note, a silent auction fundraiser held on Oct 19th at Menlo Circus Club in Atherton, California. The charity helps support The Family Support Agency. I decorated a mantle area using flowers such as mums, ... Asiatic lilies, horsetails, tropical fern etc. The tile is "Autumn Dawn" so I tried to create this feeling through my design. I had a great time meeting new people who attended the event. My floral arrangements sold $$$ at auction, which is great!! It was an amazing opportunity to donate the money using one of my passionate skills and I felt very happy.
Floral Installation for Kirilola
Back in August 2009, I did an installation for Kirilola, a singer well known as founding member of the Tokyo prog-rock band eX-Girl and experimental ambient group Akasau. Kirilola visited California from Japan in August this year and performed solo concerts in San Francisco, Mill Valley, and Los Angeles. She invited me to create a floral installation for one of her performances. I decided to work with three large canvasses I covered with black fabric and hung so they had the illusion of floating off the ground. The flowers I used were mums, curly willows, orchids, and anthuriums. With the added addition of Kirilola's video projections the stage ambiance was magical.

Spring Pink Flowers For Any Occasion, Even Valentine's Day

I like spring flowers like tulips, rannancurus, and cherry blossoms. These spring colors are refreshing to my eyes, especially after Christmas and New Year's floral colors such as red, white, gold, and silver. Oops! Valentine's Day will coming soon so red red red!! (But remember a romantic sentiment can be pink as well).
Flowers seen in my photos are local tulips, rannancurus, and Asiatic white lilies simply placed in a glass vase. The result is a natural floral design.

Last Wedding at the Carnelian Room in San Francisco

For this December wedding my customers — Lynn and Blane — married on December 5th, chose the floral color themes of raspberry red and shades of dark pink. I used calla lilies, orchids, and roses. I was lucky to have a customer who got married at the Carnelian Room so I could see the restaurant before it closed.
