Yuka & Eric Wedding in May 2 2010

Akiko Nabeshima photographer sent me some their wedding photos recently.
It held on Four Seasons Hotel in SF.
Yuka ( birde) loves pale pink flowers, especially cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, end of April"Sakura" was just over then I found apple flowers instead.
We did incorporate with white, pastel pink and light green color flowers like roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, orchids, freesias and apple flowers etc.

Spring feels flowers are matched their image, I think.
They provide lunch meals for all vendors, it was very thoughtful, thank you.

I also found a interesting wedding topics by The Knot.
People create their own style wedding not necessary to be traditional anymore.

Orange Calla lilies at Le Colonial Restaurant

Wedding reception at Le Colonial Restaurant in SF.
This is the third times went for set up floral arrangements.
Few orange calla lilies, bear glass loops in the water as accent.
Square vase is popular to use now as well.

Liz and Landon's wedding in May 29th 2010

One of sweet couple married at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in SF. It well known church at North Beach district. Their color theme was burgundy red, purple and light green.
Her bouquet was black magic roses, freedom roses, hypericum red berries and her crystals on it.

Reception was Lake Chalet in Oakland. It also very nice place, in fact, I love to go there to having a drink as well.

Yellow and green mums

For the aisle decorations especially out door weddings, nice to use lantern hook for hanging floral bouquets. Instead of attached with chairs,this way makes more stand out, I think.
I used bright yellow daisy mums, green button mums and jasmine vines.

Nikki and Daniel's Wedding In May 1. 2010.

 

In May 1st, I designed the flower arrangements for
Nikki and Daniel’s wedding at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco. I
used tulipand peony flowers only. The color theme was shades of lovely, spring
pink.
Nikki and Daniel are a sweet couple. I met them through my customer
Elaine,whose wedding flowers I designed in 2008. Since then, Elaine has
introduced me to future brides and I deeply appreciate her kind referral. In fact, I
just found out on Nikki's wedding day that
Elaine is a make up artist and she is a wedding vendor as well. Check out Elaine’s website, she is gooood!!

Momorable day....

One of my costumers she called me to making some memorable floral arrangements.
Since then I made her wedding flowers in 2008,  it was nice to hearing from them again!!
The request was making some her wedding floral arrangements again.
 

Weekly Office Floral Decoration

A law office in Burlingame,  I've been doing floral arrangements for them since in 1999, I believe...
The floral arrangement is placed at reception area on every Monday.
I saw big orange roses at market and made a contemporary style with viburnums and tropical leaves.

Chiku Chiku Craft Sale

Me and my friends are going to have craft sale in May 7th again.
I'm going to sell "Mini Floral Bouquet" at this time.
I may use peachy orange roses, white freesias, snow balls, etc and make wreath vine rounded.
I used sell a lot of this mini bouquets when I was working at Ambiance Floral Studio in Buringame.  
It's different design, you won't see it other place!!

Kathy and Daniel Wedding

Wedding was on March 20th, at Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco.
Their color theme is purple and green.

Her bouquet. Purple calla lilies, Green cymbidium orchids, purple dendrobium orchids and lily glasses.

Bridesmaids bouquets are green cymbidium orchids.

 

Groomsmen boutonnieres are Monkey tails and green mums.

Groom boutonniere is monkey tails, galax leaves and bells of Ireland.

I used fresh palm leaf woven and dried., I made dry material myself.( only leaf...ha ha)
I wanted make it something designed not just a bunch of dry flowers stick in a container.
